I just planted this in one of my beds as a groundcover to walk on. It's taking off like a shot. A little scary. It has cute little white flowers that look like itty-bitty lantanas.

Also known as Lippia repens.

AHA! It is Lippia! Dang. It came in one of those Native Sons four-inch pots and said it was a native plant, so I took the bait. Well. I wonder if it will be okay in a flower bed now.

It IS a native though not endemic - Theodore Payne and Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden both sell it. There is a pink form too. I don't have any problem with mine but then it's hemmed in by gravel.
