Four inches up here in the Hayward Hills so far.

Hasn't yet begun in the Sierra foothills and I put off watering some potted plants that are none too happy. Hoping it starts soon and it's a strong one!

Here in the vineyards of the Napa Valley an inch of rain followed by a few days of warm dampness is a recipe for mold in the vines and new berries. Wish it would rain here in southern CA, SFV. I love rain and had been super happy with our June gloom weather, but now it's getting hot, ugh!

Last Tuesday in the Bay Area it was 90 degrees.
Yesterday, maybe a half-inch or more of rain!
I quite liked it, as I believed the weather forecasters and did not water my tomatoes or annual seedlings, and they got a good natural soaking yesterday! Yea!
Today it is a little windy here but skies be looking blue.
The only bad part about the rain was I left my car window down and had to ride home from work sitting on cardboard! Yes, I am a genius.

it poured here in west ccc (hercules). this weather has been totally weired though. sunday and monday it was in the 80's, yesterday it poured, and it was a cold rain,windy and blustery like winter, with a high of 52 - i came so close to starting a fire or turning the heat on!!

then today it started out the same, cold and blustery with light drizzle. and by 3:30 the sun was out and it was 72.

i'm interested to see if this will effect my veggies...?
