HELP!!! How manage Calla Lillies

I had a 20 -30 ft. strip of garden facing east and covered with a patio cover. i had 1 gal potted calla lilly that I was going to pot in my pond but did not for several years. Late last spring I decided to plant it and another small one by my pond. I rinsed all the dirt off the roots/rhizomes and separated them. I planted every single rhizome big or small (some smaller than my pinkie fingernail.) 60+

They all came up and just loved their new home. Less than a year later it looks like a little jungle and I was getting 15-20 blooms at a time for cutting. I used them for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at the end of March.

But now, mid June in SoCal they are starting to fall over and be less dense. Is this due to the heat or are they overcrowded. They are still blooming but not as profusely.

Should I cut them all back, thin them out or both?

Please advise......
