Novice, need to identify a certain plant

I'm very new to this and am having a hard time identifying a certain type of plant. I've looked in a bunch of catalogs for groundcover but can't find it. This plant seems to be used for groundcover here in Southern California. It has very silvery foliage and yellow daisy-like flowers. It is grown on gentle slopes in full sun and in large areas. Short plant and used pretty extensively. Please help!

Probably Dymondia margaretae.

But it might also be the old-fashioned trailing gazania, Gazania rigens leucolaena.
