I've already eaten some Sungold and an unknown volunteer tomato. The others look like they'll be ready soon, certainly earlier than last year.

I've had a few Sungolds and a few Stupices so far. Stupice has been fruiting a bit larger than golfballs. The vines on Cherokee Purple & Brandywine are getting close to 5' tall. I was lamenting the absence of fruit about a week ago, but daily flicking of blossoms seemed to do the trick and now I'm noticing lots of fruit beginning to form. There is something just utterly gratifying about that, isn't there?

lg, I hope you get lots of photos of your Indigo Rose and let us know your thoughts on it. It's a gorgeous tomato and I hope the taste stands up the looks.

I love Stupice. I didn't plant any heirlooms this year because I have root knot nematodes. I dug out one raised bed and refilled with purchased soil and planted a hybrid- now I forget which one! I think it was Celebrity. The plant is big and healthy looking so far, and there appears to be a record number of tomatoes growing on it. I already ate my first eggplant and I have been getting pattypan squash. Can't wait for the tomatoes, though- they are the main attraction.

Growing like wild. Had a ripe one, rat chomped it. Put out trap, electrocuted rat. Lots and lots and lots of green fruit. The blueberries and figs are also doing good.

I have two plants, neither of which are what their tags claimed. One is an orange one-bite size and the other an heirloom with dark red-with-black skin and flesh. Obviously they are bearing fruit and we've been eating both kinds.
