Yes. "Ponytail Palm" or "Bottle Palm". I love mine. When the flower dies, it will fall off (or you can cut it off) and new fans of leaves will emerge , eventually creating new branches. It keeps a naturally perfect shape like a Dr. Seuss tree. The trunk will get really big and interesting. Unfortunately, those brown leaves are always there, and they are razor-sharp. I pull mine off.

That seems to be an unusual spot to plant one- right in front of a window.
