See if a quality local garden center can order them for you. Looks like El Modeno and San Marcos are the wholesalers--ask your quality local garden center if they can order from them.

The more unusual colors are hybrids and are probably tissue-cultured.

Nice! I tried a turquoise colored one, but it declined rather quickly. I wonder how vigorous the exotic colors are.

Yes, turquoise! I think it's called Emerald Green, but it really does have turquoise to it. I'll see if I can dig up a photo.

Kathi, I can't find a photo of mine, but this is the type,and it looks absolutely turquoise when the flower fades a bit.

Got a blue-pink one at Summerwinds recently, these are "dwarf" being only 18" tall. I'm going to start a collection :)

hoovb, thanks for the idea about asking my local nursery to order them...did't even cross my mind! Rodgers is about an hour away from me, I gave them a call but sadly they tell me they have no pink kangaroo paws anymore. But thanks for the tips, hopefully my nursery can run some down for me.

Sarah, not sure where you're located, but have you tried Andersen's or Green Thumb to see if they can order these for you??

Patty--thanks for the suggestions. I'm in Redondo Beach. It looks like Andersen's is in San Diego? I see Green Thumb locations near-ish to LA though, so if the local nursery can't get them I'll try them!
