| I've had it in the ground in shade, in a pot in dappled shade, tried more water/less water - but though it looks happy enough it has never bloomed in 6-7-8 years. Are there any secrets I should know? |

| That's odd. Sweet Box should be blooming in the late winter/early spring for you. Maybe it's actually not getting enough sunlight?? I always thought of it as a good dryish shade plant. Have you ever seen the dark red berries (drupes) in the fall?? If so, then perhaps the blooms were just a few and missed?? Patty S. |

| I have never seen berries either, just what look like small clumps of buds that then disappear. Still scratching my head. Will try to post a photo in case it isn't really sarcococca, which would be too funny after all these years. |
