Fuji apple tree - yellowing leaves

I purchased a dwarf fuji apple tree last year and planted it in a pot on my patio. It is currently on a drip system for watering. The weather is turning hot (102 some days) and I noticed that some of the new leaves are turning yellow. Is this a sign that it needs more water or is this a sign of some other problem? Also, when might I expect to see blossoms and fruit? Thank you very much!

A apple tree in a container, will need regular fertilizer. Does your drip run long enough to see some water come from the container drain holes? Did you use a container mix that will not break down in multi years use? Blooms will appear on wood at least two years old. Al
