Have you noticed the part about reseeding freely? Much of the coast highways of northern California have been self seeded with this tree. It is almost as prevalent as the broom which also blooms yellow at about the same time. Al

The pollen those trees put out will turn your driveway yellow, and if you have allergies, they are bad.

They are beautiful, but do have drawbacks.
