Hi all,

I bought a small 5 gal avocado tree at the Home Depot in Monrovia and having a difficulty figuring out what variety is that :(

A guy from the HD said is was a Haas, googling for dwarf Haas gave me nothing.

The lable says the following:

Dwarf Avocado
Hybrid Dwarf

Any ideas?

RE: Home Depot dwarf avocado question

I would go back to Home Depot with the label off the container, and go to customer service. They can go to their computer with the order number from the label and identify the grower. This is what they do when a plant fails and is returned, so they can charge back the grower. With the name of the grower and HDs order number you should be able to get the botanical name of your tree. Al

More likely than not it is 'Littlecado', aka 'Wurtz'.

Thank you, all!
Yes, I've done some research and it is a Little cado or Wurtz, like hoovb mentioned.
It is from the La Verne nursery:
