Can I split these Kangaroo Paws?

The nursery where I bought this Anigozanthos Bush Pearl plant only had one left, but I would really like to plant one on each side of my Protea Pink Ice. Is it possible for me to split this one into two plants, and if so, how risky is the operation? I really like this plant and don't want to kill it.

Dump it out and see if it looks like it has 2 sets of roots,if it does i think you should be able to cut/divide it in 1/2.

I grow these but i have mine planted where i wanted them,and they are in the ground.

We split about 50 of them this spring and they are doing fine. We grew them for our fair display last year and did not need them so kept them over the winter in their one gallon pots. As you can imagine the pots were jammed full of roots and all needed to be repotted back into one gallon pots, so all had to be split. Now we hope to use 100 this year! Al
