Still waiting for anything of a decent size. Yes, lot's of green...very few red. We are between Monterey and Salinas.

Nothing this week at the farmers market where I shop, but hoping to see tomatoes next week. It has been a weird year for weather, regular precipitation (drizzle showers) throughout the summer here which is not the usual for Humboldt county.

From just north of Napa - I have tons of green tomatoes. Have been clipping back long vines and cutting back on water hoping to force alittle red on them. Had a few small ones.

I have had a few showing a little color. I inspect them and if any BER is noted I pick and discard. Thus so far I have thrown away about six or eight. Lots of fruit is coming and looks clean. Al

I've got loads of green fruit on the verge of turning. I've harvested about 20 small Stupice and only 5 of large varieties. Last year the biggest harvest was around Aug 15th. Most people I talk to around here agree that we're 2 weeks behing last year.

Yellow plums have been happening for the last month, got lucky with 4 Brandywines that must have been set in an early warm spell, harvested those last Sunday. The rest are big and green :) All were started from seed in March in the GHS.

My toms are about a month to month and a half behind. I picked my first 3 black plumb toms on Saturday (8/6), and an additional one on Sunday (8/7). I have tons of green toms on my plants though. This time last year, I was already picking close to 20# off 6 plants, every other day. I'm in the Sierra Foothills between Auburn and Grassvalley. Last year was so good, I actually crushed one of my cages (crushed strait down...not toppled over).
