April was warmer then August..

Something weird about TWO April heatwaves while August has had none. And no explanation that I know of for all this cool. Must be something blocking the high pressure..its even been wet the streets drizzly.
Unless El Nino or Nina has showed up..anybody know what the reason for all this?

It's only the 10th of August and the heat is coming. I am enjoying the cooler than normal temps but it's still only 5-6 degrees below normal and in the mid 80's. April was in the 70's. I have a feeling September is going to be a scorcher with even more fires.

That early heat has caused the grapes to ripen early. All are at least two weeks early. As every farmer knows there is no such thing as NORMAL weather. Al

It's not just the grapes, my Pink Pearl apples were ready a couple weeks early too. They also had the darkest color I've ever gotten in the 6 years I've had the tree, I don't know why but I think it probably has something if not everything to do with the weather. My other fruits are coming in early as well, and it looks like we might even get a good tomato crop. All in all I've enjoyed the weather tremendously, it's been a beautiful year and I hope it continues to be so nice.
