Just can't tell. Need better photos. Can you put a leaf or two on a piece of white paper and take a photo that way? Just can't make out the details.

I'd bet a ten on it, but not if I needed to determine the species :-)

Judging from what I can see of the leaves, the vein arrangement does not look like Elm. Elms have a central vein with the side veins evenly spaced and running parallel to each other.
