I have been enjoying this weather too. August 1st started out cool and cloudy. I don't think it got above 82.

Yes, it's been great. Normally I'm ensconced in the shade this time of year. The plants are happy, too.

My part of the bay area had been upper 70's I guess,morning fog, 58f mornings this summer. A bit breezy. August has been low 70's. So,nice for people a little cool for the subtropical's for a August. Still,the warmth of April- July has the Stephanotis in bloom and has been for a while. Usually it wont start blooming early in summer.

Cooler temps seem to be helping strawberries and toms set fruit. :)

I don't notice the weather changing much from one month to the next, but my plants do, and so I have several bromeliads blooming in my pergola. I've been having trouble getting tomato plants to produce, but I've had good luck with chilies. I don't get enough heat where I live for plants that need a hot spell, as I am too close to the beach.
