| I just prepared my garden yesterday (roto-tilled in compost and steer manure) and I'm going to go ahead and lay out my drip line and plant carrots and beets this week. I have a partially shaded spot for mesculin and spinach that I'll probably put in next weekend, also on drip. I started lettuces, broccoli, brussels sprouts and onions in trays about three weeks ago and I think they'll be ready to go in when the weather finally turns cool. I also live in the coastal region, although further north than you, just south of L.A. |
