| What is the best border plant to use for my winter vegetable garden? I use marigolds for my summer garden but can't find reference info for what is the best to attract bees and help control pests for a winter vegetable garden in So. CA. I wondered about pansies as a possibilitiy(?). I would appreciate suggestions from all the So.CA winter vegie garden veterans. Thank you. |

| Snapdragons and stock will keep flowering, and any bees that are still around once it gets cold will visit both. My pineapple sage is just starting to flower now, flowers a long time and it also is attractive to hummers. In early spring citrus trees are a good choice for bees. Carla in Sac |
