I am so very sick and tired of pine needles that I feel my heads gonna explode!!

Our back yard backs up to several pine trees that hang over into our yard. I have a nice grades with veggies and lots of flowers and succulents. And I am so sick and tired of picking the needles out of my tomatoes, peppers, green beans, hydrangeas, impatiens, etc... And the fountain! And I'm sick of trying to keep from breaking my back while racking them and picking them out of my smaller and more delicate plants. HELP!

Ive heard that people actually buy these pine needles to use for mulch. If so, should I just give in, accept the fact that they are a permanent part of my gaeden life, and start collecting them to use for much? If I do this, are tree any plants that pine needles are harmful towards ?

As a disclaimer, I had horrible experiences with them as a kid and have HATED THEM ever since, lol.
