Coleus infected/infested

Please help me save my coleus, or at least cuttings from it.

Below are links to pics, one of it full size, one close up of the stalk with infestation. Can I save my plant? I think the white stuff is mealybugs, but was are the black bigger bugs? I really liked this plant and it's done well for 6 6 months. It started to suffer when when we had a heat wave last month. I thought maybe I had over watered it.

Can it be saved?

Hi nachomomma,
Coleus are usually annuals. If you really like this one, you can take a cutting, root it in water, and pot it up for next year. The black bugs are scale insects.

Looks like mealy bugs(white stuff),scale and ants.As he OP said, take a cutting, make sure it's disease free and root it.I'm about 1/2 hour up the freeway from you and that's what i usuall do.i have also rooted in water.

The other thing i do is cut mine backevery year as they finish and they always come back.

Why did you post the image of the fungicide? It won't help get rid of critters.
