Free Plants in San Diego

Our landlords told us we had to get rid of all our potted plants. We're looking for a good home for the following:

Dwarf hibiscus TradeWinds "Samoa Wind," dark pink flowers. Sun H 2-3 ft, Sp 3-4 ft.

Puya berteroniana, Turquoise Puya. Sun. H 3'. Average to no summer water.
We got this from Annie's Annuals and Perennials. They say, "Spectacular, 2-3 ft. long & 1 ft. across pineapple-y shaped spikes are densely studded with 1.5" waxy, metallic blooms of the most unearthly emerald-turquoise. Contrasted by bright orange stamens & filled with blue syrupy nectar, they're a bonanza for birdies who perch on sterile, horizontal stems. To 6-10 ft. tall in bloom."

Pychnostachys urticifolia, Blue Witches Hats. Bright shade or part shade. H 8 ft, W 8 ft
Annie's Annuals and Perennials, from whom we got this plant, says, "Bears cobalt blue "witches hats" starting in November, all the way to spring. Soft green leaves."

Phytolacca acinosa, Himalayan Pokeberry. Sun-part shade. H 4 ft, W 4 ft.
We got this one from Annie's too. They say, "White flowers in early summer. Black berries are good for birds; can stain. Low to average water. Not invasive."

The plants from Annie's are about 4 years old.

We also have a white-flowered perennial geranium and
some tall bearded irises.

We're in San Diego in the college area, on the border of La Mesa. You can reach us at 619-248-2241.

Thanks,
Jennifer
