I think you've got your memories mixed up, as the discount section of Norcal Pottery was in Hayward, not in Richmond next to Annie's Annuals. If memory serves, the pottery outlet next to Annie's is called Pottery Land, and both Norcal and Pottery Land still exist as wholesale outlets to the trade. The seconds area at Norcal did used to have some very good deals,you might try looking at the seconds/damaged pots at AW Pottery as an alternative, but never as large a selection as Norcal's seconds used to have.
