Well, I'll be right behind you! I'm sick of watering and high water bills. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest and quite ready to go back!

We got about 3 inches in two days here. It was anything but slow or warm.

And, yes, I have lived in NoCal for over 30 years now and I am spoiled. I do no summer gardening, prefer Mother Nature to do the watering for me.

Talk about a double edged sword! I look down on a three acre field my neighbor has been working hard to prepare for winter planting of a new vineyard. With this soaking rain on warm cultivated soil, I can see the soil turning green with lush weed growth. Any of my garden soil not well mulched is doing the same. Drop the watering hose and pick up the weeding hoe. Al

Yep,blowing off all the leaves falling from the Ash,and then seeing the weeds n'grasses sprouting with the water. At least,its nice after that chill..warm is back. Unless,you dont like warm.

No, don't like warm. I was so excited by the approach of Fall and Winter and now we'll be back up to the mid 80's by Wednesday. I'm wondering if there are going to be issues with plants thinking it's Spring...lol..
Okay, I admit the mornings and late afternoons are pretty good and there is a nice breeze, but I'd like to see more rain soon. It is so good not to be out there watering.....yet.
