Strong winds in O.C.-- Check outdoor plants

Hi all. I just stepped outside and saw that my beloved bird's-nest fern had been blown off a patio table. The upstairs neighbors' fake flowers had been knocked down as well. Luckily, no serious damage, but I'm going to go out again and make sure the wind hasn't dehydrated any of my leafy potted plants. If it's windy where you live, you might want to do the same.

The winds were clocked at 65mph here last night and after 4 days of them finally died down.
I'm not worried about potted plants, but am worried about trees falling over.
Stupid Queen Palms and their mess from neighbors I am tired of cleaning up after.
