Hi folks,
I've just ripped out a big chunk of my front lawn and replaced it w/ a shade bed as I got really tired of the lawn dying every winter (the sunny half of the yard is already largely converted to raised bed veggies and roses). I've got 3 Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' plants that are really, really happy there, growing strongly (they've tripled in size) and have bloomed from May 'til now without stopping. They're great! But.... I don't know what to do with them come winter....
Is one supposed to prune them back in the winter? If so, how far? It essentially never freezes here (beach area San Diego) so I'm not even sure if they'll go dormant or stay chugging along all winter. Thanks for any advice!
