can I plant bulbs now?

Dutchbulbs has shipped my daffodils and Dutch irises which I ordered a while ago. They say they ship all orders at the correct planting time in the customer's area.

I live in Carmel valley (mid-valley), and the weather is pretty warm. I usually plant bulbs not earlier than in December. I do not have a refrigerator to store them. The house and the garage get pretty warm in the sun. What do I do? Store them in the warm house/garage until December? Or plant them now? Or return them to Dutchbulbs and demand them to be shipped later as they promised? (there is also one peony in the shipment).

I would appreciate the advice of more experienced forum members.
