My 2-year old Bottlebrush has injuries from my gardener's weed eater. I didn't notice it until recently. Is there anything to do to help it recover or prevent problems due to the wounds? Thanks for any help.

It will recover OK by itself. If you can not keep your weed eater out of the circle meant to protect it, there is a plastic guard available to protect the trunk. Al

Are you certain it's from a weed-eater? I'm not. Looks more like southwest damage. Whatever the underlying cause, that particular stem may be toast.
