Very odd CA poppy

I have California poppies (regular orange, and the occasional cream or red one left over from seeds I threw around too) that seed all over my garden, and today I noticed a very odd one. The petals are greenish yellow and very long and thin. Yes, I'm certain this is attached to a poppy plant!
