Partial sun fruit trees?

I live in Redondo Beach. There is space in our side yard (north side of house) for three small trees. We've decided to try and do all edibles and so I want to plant fruit trees. Right now ( mid November) they get about 4 hours of direct sun a day. In the summer they get 6 hours. One corner gets more (5-7).

Our next door neighbor has a fig tree in the same area (just the other side of the fence) that is flourishing (although the squirrels get all the fruit, but that is another discussion). Anyways I know some fruit trees will grow there.

To make my intentions just that much more difficult, I'm hoping to plant trees that will fruit at different times of the year.

Any advice is appreciated.
