I'm so happy--zucchini!

I put a zucchini seed in the ground September 1 as an experiment. Although the bush is getting a little frazzled at this point, I've been harvesting 1-2 squash a week! I still see flowers and a couple more squash coming. I never thought I could have zucchini through December.

Congratulations! We have had an unusually warm late fall/early winter. I'm in shock that I have figs still growing on one tree with no sign of dormancy.

I doubt they will ripen, but they are getting big. Still hard though.
