We shan't complain

While some are grousing
We shout.."More Rain!"

When I was a teen,
I smiled with joy
A big bag of peat moss!
More fun than a toy.

My mom actually squeezed that 2 cu ft bag under the tree with a big bow. I was into growing flowers from seed when I first started gardening.

When I was first married, I told my husband what I wanted for Mother's Day....a rototiller....he asked, "seriously?"
I said, "Oh, yeah..very seriously"

We gardeners are well grounded right from the start. :)

Some of us must have a little too much time on our hands, what with the rain and all....

time and dirt, time and dirt...

Uh huh.....I love the winter because I don't have to be out there constantly watering lately and taking care of things. It foces us to take some time off, or at least, an excuse to. Take some time to start to feel enthusiastic about Spring when it rolls around...re-energized maybe.
