There is an ag weather network that has several hundred monitors across CA for pan evaporation, precip, degree days - CIMIS.

I use a site called Weather Underground. The station in my area is about 5 miles away at the same elevation and the information is up to date and very comprehensive. All I need to do is give my zip code. Try wunderground.com
