Rainfall monitor for California gardeners

I've posted a link here in times past to a National Weather Service site that gave rainfall information for California cities. It was a great link, giving rainfall for the past 24 hours, rainfall year-to-date, and comparing both to the normal rainfall and the previous year's rainfall.

I'm sorry to say that this site, which I found so very useful, is no longer available. However, some of the information is still available. Here is how to find it for some California locations near the bay area. If you go to the link below, then click on Regional Summary (RTP), a new window will open with the information at the bottom.

For the wider state, a different link is provided. Here it is.
