A new Blue flowering tree for California

Anyone else growing this tree, Robinsonella cordata from southern Mexico/Central American cloud forest zones? I've got one I purchased at the fall 2011 UC Berkeley Botanic Garden sale, where it remained unsold after the rained out weekend dates of the sale. I suspect no one snatched this up because it had no more information than the name of the plant; no photos, no descriptions of what it does. Lucky me, I had remembered seeing this described as a new introduction by SMG Wholesale Nursery when their 2011 catalog came out, and had been contemplating trialing it here in Berkeley.

Check out the background description and history of this plant on their web site, it is interesting to see how history repeats itself. Nothing new under the sun sometimes, just newly rediscovered and promoted plants...

Here is a link that might be useful: Robinsonella cordata
