I bought a few Maori Chief (they are gorgeous!) at my local nursery- they told me they haven't seen them get much bigger than 2-3' tall and wide. I just looked them up in my Sunset guide and it states 5-6 feet. They would be planted in mostly shaded areas... Is the 5-6' really typical? Is there a similar variety that has the same color that is guaranteed to stay compact? Thanks!!!!
