My sister had a huge Bacon avocado tree in Santa Paula.
It had very big fruit that were good to eat. Don't know about cross pollination.

I find the Bacon's watery and bland. Fuerte still the best imho.

Bacons are pretty good here. 'Reed' is my favorite.

I don't like Bacon avocados. I don't know if Jim Bacons are different, though.

Haven't tried Jim Bacon that I know of, but avocado preferences are individualized.

Yes, Bacon varieties should do a good job of cross-pollinating with Haas.
