I recently planted some podocarpus gracilior(fern pine) in our backyard. The worker that dug the holes for me suggested watering them everyday. The day I planted them I watered them and two days later the soil at the surface is still moist. I don't want to over water them. I'm located in San Diego and it's winter now so it's cool here. Does anyone have a recommendation on how often I should water them? Thanks!
