Northeast Exposure o.k. for a japonica tom knudsen camellia?

I planted a tom knudsen japonica camellia last spring on the west side of my home located in extreme Northwest Arkansas. I'm thinking of moving it to the northeast corner at the front of my home as it will be more easily seen and enjoyed. Will it get enough shade and wind protection in this location? The spot I'm considering is at the far left of our garage which is covered by a steeply pitched roof. I'm obviously a novice, and have had trouble figuring out exactly how much sun this spot gets as it seems to get more sun in the spring than it does in the summer.

Unless you have a photo of that spot taken in the summer or early fall, it would be difficult to determine if that is a good spot, especially for folks like us who have never seen it. The sunlight requirements are normally given for the Summer Months, not Spring Months. Now and in Spring, some deciduous trees allow camellias to get full sun and it does not harm them. But by May or later, it begins to cause problems.
