As always, I'm in jealous awe of your camellia pictures. We are a couple of months away from the beginning of japonica season here, although with a few lucky warm days wedged into the winter, we sometimes get a few sporadic blooms and Debutante has a tendency to open a few blooms in late Autumn.

Must get myself to the Iberian peninsula some Camellia season in the future and see these beauties for myself!

My sasanquas have finished blooming. My japonica is budded, but hasn't begun to bloom yet. I'm thinking I need a trip to the nursery to find a camellia that blooms now. ;)

Eric, provided that the work will allow me, I like to help during visits to our Camellias in Galicia. Sometimes friends also accompany visitors to see the beautiful camellias in northern Portugal. Galicia and northern Portugal are united without borders, and within walking distance.
