| Blooming season in the Camellia State is a thing to behold. If you love camellias and want some ideas for new selections, plus a bunch of good information, you will find it in abundance at some of the upcoming camellia shows: the 65th Annual Camellia Show in Mobile is this weekend Jan 15-16 at Colonial Mall Bel Air, and the Birmingham Show is Feb. 12-13 at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Hundreds of different varieties on display. Be sure to say hi! One of the neat things about Birmingham is to see the show inside, then walk outside and see them blooming in the garden. Another show is in Auburn/Opelika the end of February, I am not sure of the exact date. A list of other area shows is on the link below. |
