What a surprise! Can I take it with me?

| I moved into this house about six months ago, and there were two shrubs with dark green leaves that looked kind of pretty, but didn't seem all that interesting. Then all of a sudden, I come home to gorgeous pink flowers!
I feel bad for neglecting them all summer... But luckily it doesn't seem like I hurt the plant any. In another two months, I'm moving to Wyoming... could I take a cutting now and hope for the best? would it survive in Wyoming? I'm guessing that where i'm moving to it would be about zone 4 or 5... Also, if anyone has any idea what the formal name of my flower is, i'd love to know. Thank you all for your help!

HA!!!!! Not a chance. Sorry :( First of all cuttings are very very slow to root but most important is it would be way too cold for any camellia I know of where you are heading. Mike |

| If they began blooming recently, you have a Camellia japonica. There are many thousands of hybrids, so can't tell you which one you have. Camellia will not grow in Wyoming. |
