In August I put japonica scions in a rooting bed with rooting hormone. Some have rooted sufficiently, others have only caloused and others have not even caloused. Does anyone have any advise as to what I should do to encourage rooting?

| Can you possibly to move the date earlier, if the new branches are about getting firm? Or try to balance the temperature, light, growth media and humidity to the best condition. |
