hi shari there's a photo of the carolina moonmist's bloom on the link below - i saw these in person at camellia forest and they are beautiful (aren't they all) ... the moonmist is a c.oleifera x c. sasanqua. the oleifera cross enables this one's extra cold hardiness. i have quite a few sasanquas and they seem more sun tolerant than other types. i'm thinking of two sasanquas, in particular, that get direct sun till early afternoon. camellia forest's description affirms the moonmist's sun tolerance. marsha |
