I have one of these, and it is an excellent garden specimen, almost like a flowering cherry when in full bloom, only better, you will like it. But I am down here on the gulf coast. May I suggest calling David Parks at Camellia Forest Nursery (they are on the web) he deals in many cold hardy varieties and can probably answer your question, or you might try posting this message on the American Camellia Society Bulletin Board forum at www.camellias-acs.com, where he and several other commercial growers from different regions hang out.
