Camellias in the UK

| My daughter lives in Newcastle, UK. She would like to grow some camellias, but don't know what type might survive there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

| most all the standard japonica type camellias should do just fine there and especially japonica x saluensis hybrids like "donation". |
