Can someone I.D. this for me?

I'm hoping someone can identify this camellia for me. I've been searching through the posts, but my untrained eye can't pick this one out. Thanks so much.

There are several "Gallery of Blooms" sites on the web you might browse. It is hard to tell from the photo -- the slightly purplish edges and veining suggest it may be a member of the Mathotiana family, maybe 'Mathotiana Supreme' but thats a guess.

Could it be 'Katherine Nuccio'?

Is it an older plant? 'Katherine Nuccio' was apparently popular in Eastern NC in the past as I've seen it in a lot of older gardens.

Honestly, a lot of camellias are difficult to i.d. based on only one bloom. Lots of cultivars have variable flowers. Just look at a few camellia galleries and compare specific cultivars and you'll see the variation.
