| Can anyone identify this beautiful pink and white camellia? The tag says Pink Perfection...and I do think it's perfectly beautiful, but I know that's not the correct name. Any ideas? |

| based on the petal arrangement, i think it is 'lady van sittart'. 'herme' ('jordan's pride') is similar in color but the form is slightly different. |

| From one jingoist to another, I agree with spartacuslives that your camellia is 'Yours Truly,' a lovely sport of 'Lady Vansittart.' I ordered a 'Yours Truly,' from, of all places, Nuccio's, sometime in the 1990's. It is a slow-growing plant; but over time, has attained enough size and maturity to flower well. For me, it blooms late and, at present, is reaching its peak. The 'Lady Vansittart' tribe is noted for its heavy production of seeds. The seedlings are generally outstanding, with the candy-stripe gene commonly present. |

| Thanks, Jay. I got this plant this week, in a roundabout way, from a nursery in Bishopville. It's about 3 ft tall and has probably 6 open blooms and about 20 more buds. Have I said how beautiful it is? : )) Thanks again. |
