camellia buds but no blooms

| I have a cameilla bush , not sure what kind that buds heavily but it does't bloom, what is worng. |

It could be that nothing is wrong. Some camellia varieties flower as late as this time of the year, plus or minus one month! Sudden weather changes can also delay bloomage. For example, my Kramer's Supreme normally bloom in December but I did not get bloom this year until mid-March. Without knowing the variety that you have, I cannot tell you when your plant is supposed to bloom under normal circumstances. However, if the flower buds are still there and look healthy (not brown), I would just wait. That is what I had to do. Luis |

| I did mention that precise variety in an earlier post, and in my case , I'd guess the early formed buds I tend to get indoors, chose to flower in the already cooler days of August here last summer, First time ever for summer blooms on it though its' aat with buds for many buds previously before it finally chose to flower in "winter" indoors for me! It's funny how subtle changes can change their flowerin times I'd guess! |
