| Great idea. Summer is best for taking cuttings, after the soft new growth hardens off. There is a good current discussion thread by some experts on the technique of rooting cuttings on the ACS Website Discussion Board (link below) with photos. You might also consider leaving some of those longer limbs and making airlayers of them, which will give you a good sized plant that will bloom next year. And now is the perfect time to put on the air layers, while the bark is loose, and sasanquas are easy. It's fun too. |
