Guide to espalier?

| Can anyone recommend a good webpage or guide to espalier? When we bought our house, it came with a winter blooming espalier camelia that is well established, but quite overgrown. I never learned how to prune or train espalier in my hort classes. Most websites only have a text description, and I learn better visually. I'm assuming it should have a flat look to it when finished.
Here are a couple of shots of the current look:

| It's a little late to do anything this year. You may ruin next season's bloom. However, what you do is snip off anything that you think sticks out too far. I wouldn't try for a flat look. Do your trimming next year by cutting right after blooming and before the new growth starts. Better still, cut off bouquets to take inside. |
