| There are now cultivars that are hardy into Zone 6 and 5 (protected). Most of the more cold-tolerant ones are the fall blooming hybrids. |

| We are in Southampton County, VA, some 75 miles inland from the Atlantic and 25 miles north of NC and my camellias do beautifully. Bill. |
